I loved swimming with daddy! This was a very family friendly resort. Everywhere we looked, there were little kids just like me... and then....
while we were enjoying ourselves at the pool and at the beach, daddy runs into aunty Phoebe! They moved to Oahu 2 months ago, and decided to come to Maui for a few days. We were so excited to meet my little buddy Sean who is now 7 months old. Aunty Phoebe and uncle Paul said there is so much more to do in Oahu~ So on the day that daddy decided to golf, mommy decided to be brave and fly with me to Oahu for a day trip. Aunty Phoebe picked us up and we headed toward Waikiki beach. The beaches here are very shallow and ideal to play in.
We then went to the Hilton to see some animals, and what do you know? There were penguins!
After a yummy lunch and window shopping, we went to go see Sean at his house. Boy, isn't he cute? Cuddly and chubby just like me!
Look at their backyard! Since we didn't have much time, we will definitely come back to Oahu to meet up with Sean again maybe next year. Now, daddy was waiting so anxiously to see me again. He had a great round of golf.. but when I saw him, i almost did not recognize him because he was so dark, and wait, is that a gotee?
So we spent the rest of our time in Kaanapali enjoying good food, taking long naps by the poolside with the cool ocean breeze, walking and swimming along the beach... well, i am still not walking by myself yet.. Mommy and daddy liked Whaler's village, but did not like Lahaina. I really enjoyed the Ocean Center. After 5 nights in Kaanapali, we headed south to Wailea.
The resorts here were very fancy... We stayed at the Grand Wailea for 3 more nights. Okay, so I didn't make things entirely easy for my parents....
Apparently, the mealtimes were somewhat tough with me trying to make friends with everyone and feeding the birds and all. They didn't get to do any hiking or snorkeling, or mountain biking as they hoped, but hey.. this trip was for me right?
